Supervision
For those who may be unfamiliar with the term, supervision is not a managerial function, although it can be helpful in improving competency and maintaining high standards of professional behaviour and ethics. Supervision provides a regular space in which one person facilitates the other to reflect on his or her own practice and process in order to support their confidence and professional growth. The supervisory relationship is an extremely beneficial resource used across a range of professions, and increasingly by complementary therapists. I work with people across a range of helping professions, including but not limited to craniosacral therapists. I have personally benefitted from the support and encouragement of regular supervision throughout my career and continue to access regular sessions for myself.
Supervision can be playful, creative, challenging, tender…. I hold a clear, nourishing and supportive space for practitioners to reflect and explore aspects of themselves in relation to their work with clients. I am qualified in core, therapeutic and group supervision and am engaged in ongoing advanced supervision training with CSTD London.
