I am a registered biodynamic craniosacral therapy practitioner and educator with clinics in Dartington and Exeter. I am also a chartered and state registered physiotherapist and have 25 years experience in healthcare.

The gentle cranial work I offer supports physical, mental and emotional balance and well-being, helping a person to deeply relax and revitalise, restoring harmony and vitality. It is effective as a preventative measure in maintaining optimum health as well as to address many common problems.

I have successfully treated complex and chronic symptoms of pain, fatigue, stress, anxiety and depression as well as more straightforward injuries and illnesses using biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST). Developed from osteopathic technique, CST uses trained touch to perceive and respond to the subtle tidal motions of ‘primary respiration’ in the body. The biodynamic model emphasises the body’s inherent ability to heal itself given the correct conditions and does not advocate the use of any external force, making it extremely safe, gentle and non-invasive, ideal for use with babies and children as well as in pregnancy or older age.

In my experience, BCST is effective in treating a wide range of conditions including back pain, sciatica, headaches/migraine, neck/shoulder/arm pain, arthritis/ joint pain, sports injuries/ RSI, reproductive problems, ailments related to pregnancy, ME/CFS, stress and trauma, sleep problems, panic attacks, digestive problems/IBS/colic and behavioural issues in children.
